Homeland: humid tropics of Indonesia, Southeast Asia, the Solomon Islands and the islands of the Malaysian archipelago. Semi-epiphytic plant.

Indoor storage conditions

Lighting: light-loving plant, especially variegated forms; Requires bright, diffused light, no direct sunlight. (Leaves may fall off in direct sunlight.) In winter, additional lighting is desirable. The best placement is in a room facing a well-lit window.

Temperature: (comfortable) 20-22°С all year round, or up to 25°С in summer, and not lower than 14-16°С in winter.

Watering: soft, concentrated water only after partial drying of the soil, less often in winter.

The plant easily tolerates temporary dryness of the substrate.
