PFP heating circuits with protective tapes are intended for surface mounting as pipe frost protection. Made with two-wire cable. A fixed thermostat is located at the junction of the connecting wire and the heating part of the cable, which turns on when the temperature drops below +3 °C and turns off when the temperature reaches +10 °C. PFP schemes do not replace thermal insulation, they serve to compensate for heat leakage through the insulation, which cannot be completely prevented. Therefore, pipes with PFP cable must always be provided with adequate thermal insulation.
